India’s favorite game-PUBG Mobile to make a comeback soon. Recently, PUBG Mobile India has announced its relaunch. However, there is no confirmation from the Indian government, yet. At the moment, PUBG Corporation is working on its website in India. The PUBG mobile India official website is back. PUBG Mobile India has relaunched its website, which was prohibited during the banishment period for the Indian audience.

Earlier, the Indian government had banned the game citing national security concerns. PUBG fans are overwhelmed with the news and developers have allegedly said that the player ID will be retained and the existing players on the global version of PUBG will be able to transfer their ID to the newly launched PUBG Mobile. Therefore, all the existing players will be able to access their achievements, rewards, and frames. The theme for Pubg Mobile India will also be much similar to the earlier global version.

As per reports, users can see an option at the bottom to directly download the APK file or to download the file through the Google Play Store. However, the former leads to a predated announcement while the latter shall redirect the user to PUBG Mobile India’s Facebook page. However,it apparently doesn’t mean that the game is available for download but the developers are giving final touch-ups to their website. The page also hints about a new logo for PUBG Mobile India with slight modifications over the global version.

PUBG Mobile will hit the Indian market soon as pre-registration has already begun, although there are questions over the authenticity of the pre-registration page. The authenticity of the pre-registration has already hit FAU-G, with over 60,000 registrations being shown but there are questions over the authenticity from several Twitter users.

According to sources, India pre-registrations for Android and iOS have now opened for select users who are a part of the Tap Tap game sharing community. The app has already been registered by over 300,000 users and is currently rated 9.8/10. But, just like FAU-G, there is no official announcement from PUBG corporation and that has thrown more confusion amongst gamers.

PUBG Corporation that has developed the original game and its various versions is a subsidiary of Krafton operating under the umbrella company Bluehole in South Korea. PUBG Corporation recently snatched the publishing rights of PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite from Tencent Games in India. Prior to the ban, the data of PUBG Mobile users from India was stored on Tencent Cloud in China. The government had announced a ban on PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite in September alongside several other apps.

PUBG Mobile along with PUBG Mobile Lite app was a part of the 116 China-origin apps that faced a ban under section 69A of the Information Technology Act that aims to protect the “sovereignty and integrity” of India from foreign IT players.

While the game had been removed from Google Play and App Stores after the ban, it was operational in India till about a week ago. However, Tencent Games shut down the India servers for PUBG Mobile on October 29, marking an end to the game’s run in India.

PUBG Mobile was banned in India along with PUBG Mobile Lite, and 116 other apps in early September by the Indian government and the games were subsequently removed from the Play store and the App Store in the country. However, PUBG Mobile still remained playable for people who already had it installed.

As per Reports, the developer is also planning on establishing a local office where it will hire over 100 employees to enhance customer service. The Corporation and parent company Krafton are planning to make $100 million (approximately Rs. 746 crores) investments in India to cultivate the local video game, e-sports, entertainment, and IT industries.
