The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced the team for the India tour of Australia 2020/21. Team India will travel to Australia right after the IPL 2020 for 3-T20, 3-ODI’s, and 4-match Test series.
Shockingly, Rohit Sharma has not been included in any of the squad. He has been ruled out of the upcoming Australia tour with a hamstring injury he picked up in the ongoing IPL. KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav have returned to India’s Test squad and uncapped fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has also been called-up for the four-match series in December-January in place of Ishant Sharam.
The selection committee, led by former India spinner Sunil Joshi, didn’t name Rohit Sharma in the squads because the protocol prevents them from including any player injured at the time of selection.

Rohit Sharma made a stunning comeback to Test cricket in 2019 as he opened the innings in home series against South Africa and Bangladesh.
