Singapore’s 2021 Free Fire World Championship 2021 date announced. Garena has announced that Play-Ins for Free Fire World Series 2021 Singapore will take place on May 28. The play-ins will be followed by the Finals on May 30. Moreover, Garena announced earlier that it would re-arrange it’s forthcoming Free Fire World Championship Series (FFWS 2021 SG).
As per reports, The company also noted that this year’s event will offer a prize pool of $2,000,000 (approximately Rs 14,48,04,000), which is the largest prize pool in the history of the tournament.
On the other hand, as teams from India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan were unable to visit Singapore due to travel restrictions, they will be awarded a share of the prize pool to “recognize the teams’ efforts and achievement in qualifying for the World Series.” The two Indian teams are Galaxy Racer and Team Elite.
Back in April, Garena had announced the Free Fire City Open for India. Players represent their own city or state in the tournament, which features a prize pool of Rs. 60 lakh.
Meanwhile, Garena had initially planned to host the Play-ins on April 24 and FInals on May 1. But the dates were shifted due to the current situation with COVID-19. The Free Fire World Series 2021 in Singapore will feature 18 teams from 11 different countries.
Galaxy Racer and Team Elite are the two Indian teams competing. Most imporantly, The Free Fire City Open features ten of the best teams from eight states, each named after a major city: Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, and Visakhapatnam. The final two teams are wildcard entrants from outside of the eight regions mentioned.
