Ravi Kishan had raised the issue of drugs nexus in Bollywood, during the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament, “Conspiracy is being hatched to destroy country’s youth, our neighbouring countries are contributing. Smuggling of drugs from Pakistan and China is done every year – it is brought via Punjab and Nepal.”

MP Jaya Bachchan in Rajya Sabha,”People in the entertainment industry are being flogged by social media. People who made their names in the industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree. I hope that govt tells such people not to use this kind of language.I am ashamed that yesterday one of our members in Lok Sabha, who is from the film industry, spoke against it. It is a shame.

After Jaya Bachchan’s statement on the film industry in the Parliament today, Kangana Ranaut tweeted about Jaya Bachchan to show compassion towards those bullied in the entertainment industry and asks her if she would say the same thing if her children were drugged, harassed, or bullied constantly and then found hanging one day.
